    AAMCI is looking for a bright, energetic individual who is qualified and experienced with Project based section 8 and Tax credit programs to add to our team as a Recertification Specialist at a 500-unit property located in Dayton, OH.

    In Addition, AAMCI invests in Mulifamily housing and is involved in development utilizing the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.

    AFFORDABLE HOUSING IS OUR PASSION
    Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. $ $18.00 per hour


    The community is an affordable housing community with Project based Section 8/Tax Credit rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents.

    In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.

    AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.

    Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Prepare initial, annual, and interim recertifications for all residents (AR, IR and IC)

    Maintain full compliance with Project based Section 8 HUD and
    LIHTCregulations

    Verify income, assets, household composition and allowable expenses

    EIV record keeping and follow-up

    Maintain resident files in accordance with AAMCI policy and procedures

    Data entry and correspondence


    Qualifications necessary for success:
    Ability to meet strict deadlines

    Project Based Section 8 (AR's, IR's, IC's)


    LIHTC
    Affordable housing

    High level of organizational skills

    Ability to calmly handle difficult situations

    Work and interact effectively with others

    Yardi Voyager experience (preferred)

    Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)

    Benefits include medical insurance, company paid employee dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability, and life insurance.

    Benefits also include Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and a 401(k) plan.

    In the 401(k) plan, employees are eligible after completing one year of employment and reaching an entrance date of January 1 or July 1.

    Company match is 5%, and employees are vested 100% from the first contribution.
