- BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or other quantitative fields with focus on software engineering, machine learning, mathematical algorithms, probability, and statistical modeling
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and algorithm development/statistical analysis
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and Git-based source code repository management
- Hands-on experience with LLM custom model training for source code analysis and generation.
- Experience leveraging code generation technologies like GitHub Copilot to produce code and AI algorithms
- Experience deploying, configuring and training open-source LLMs to produce code and AI algorithms
- Experience making infrastructural choices in the use of code generation frameworks like GitHub Copilot or deploying high performing open source LLMs in a cloud environment
- Experience evaluating and optimizing the code generation framework or LLM output quality and performance
- Ability to balance theory with pragmatic problem-solving skills to develop and apply advanced tools, code and algorithms to real world problems and data
- Proficient with Java, Python, writing SQL queries and working with databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Graph Databases)
- Ability to collaborate with software architects, product managers, and software engineers to translate requirements into design and implementation code for both fraud detection, anti-money laundering and data visualization
- Passionate about being at the forefront of Fraud detection, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and cyber-crime in general
- Experience in Agile Scrum software development practices
- Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable team player
- Experience with statistical analysis, visualization, and data mining tools such as Python and R
- Understanding of Bayesian Statistics
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud AI/ML Platforms
- Experience and passion for Generative AI, LLM
- Past experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Knowledge of Social Network Analysis

AI Software Engineer
Nice Actimize is seeking talented AI Software Engineers or Data Scientists/Data Engineers with a strong software development background, to use code generation frameworks and/or Large Language Models (LLM) to develop, generate, analyze, and program cutting-edge software and AI algorithms that will be at the core of our Fraud Prevention and Anti-money Laundering applications. The primary goal is to leverage source code generation frameworks like GitHub Copilot and/or to setup, fine-tune, and train a highly accurate open source LLM capable of generating new code, AI algorithms, reviewing, refactoring, and even migrating existing code and/or AI algorithms across different programming languages and frameworks. Our behavioral analytics / machine-learning platform is the leader in providing Fraud Detection and Anti-money Laundering solutions.
