    Description
    As an Embedded Systems Engineer with


    our Award Winning Client , a nationally recognized leader in aerospace and defense technology, you will play a crucial role in developing and integrating sophisticated embedded software systems.

    This position involves intricate work with hardware-software interfaces, managing real-time operating systems, and crafting software for environments with limited resources.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to craft and refine system architectures and devise strategies for integration.
    Conduct thorough simulations and debugging of systems to ensure adherence to stringent industry benchmarks.
    Program and implement software utilizing C/C++ and other advanced programming languages.
    Optimize and refine system performance to meet and surpass design and functional specifications.
    Write, maintain, and document software development processes while managing version control systems.
    Participate in technical support activities during system validation and troubleshoot as needed.
    Engage actively in peer review processes and contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
    Uphold all necessary compliance, security, and safety standards within the aerospace and defense sectors.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
    Minimum of 3 years' experience in embedded systems development, preferably within aerospace or defense.
    Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly.
    Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller architectures.
    Skilled in communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN.
    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work effectively within team settings.
    U.S. citizenship may be required for specific projects.

    Desired Skills:
    Expertise in FPGA programming and DSP algorithms.
    Experience with aerospace software certification standards, notably DO-178C.
    Knowledge in signal processing or control systems.
