    Johnny Brenda's is looking for a Sous Chef to join the team. Johnny Brenda's is a bar, restaurant, and independent venue located in the heart of Fishtown, specializing in the best of local beer, food, and music for over 15 years.

    Currently searching for a candidate who:
    -Excels in High Volume
    -Can maintain a postive and healthy kitchen culture
    -Work as a team but is a leader above all
    -Accepts new challenges to elevate the menu

    Sous Chef Responsibilities will be:
    • Directs food preparation and collaborates with executive chef.
    • Helps in the design of food menu.
    • Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
    • Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
    • Ensures that food is top quality and that kitchen is in good condition.
    • Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
    • Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen's performance.
    • Prepares food properly.
    • Trains new employees.
    • Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen.
