    The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) seeks to add a talented Vice President of eLearn to its team .

    The VP of eLearn provides vision and leadership to the structure and development of ADEA's e-Learn media services to ensure its success and sustainability.

    ADEA is the Voice of Dental Education, and the member-facing eLearn content has a significant synergy with ADEA's strategy and vision.

    The VP will collaborate with MCET staff to evaluate the quality of programming and use information to continuously improve the quality.

    The VP will oversee a streamlined e-Learn application process, timeline, and SOPs for both members and ADEA staff who will provide eLearn media services.

    Collaborating with the OL Senior Analyst, the VP will evaluate the existing software and determine if additional or alternative software is necessary to provide a robust learner-centric experience.

    Strategize and plan for a significant increase in synchronous and asynchronous webinars, podcasts and other learning platforms.
    Ensure valid evaluation questions and use of data to continually improve this service.

    Work collaboratively with the Office of Learning (OL) Senior Analyst, the ADEA eLearn Advisory Committee, MCET and the Continuing Education Advisory Committee (CEAC) to develop and maintain a timely and robust continuous improvement process.

    Work with the OL Senior Analyst to develop a member facing continuing Education (CE) Transcript service that will provide access to CEs associated with ADEA programs.

    Work independently to monitor and incorporate innovative and current trends in teaching and learning methodologies and delivery methods that are relevant to effective teaching and learning in dental education.

    Provide an annual review of the Learning Management System (LMS) and instructional design methods used, and update/replace software when needed.

    Develop and manage the budget for ADEA's eLearn program, ensuring that the revenue and expense goals are met and budgeting for required software and staffing levels to address this job description.

    Develop strategies to monetize eLearn while maintaining high quality and value to members.
    Advise the Chief Learning Officer on all issues related to eLearn and the eLearn staff.

    Oversee the Badging process for Micro-credentialing and maintain records in a program that is accessible to individual members and the Chief Learning Officer.

    Supervise and manage staff effectively, providing weekly feedback (written where needed), assist with the development of goals, and high quality Dialogue for Success (DFS) reports that will help staff to develop their strengths and address their development needs.

    Oversee the training and cross-training of staff in the use of eLearn and the LMS.
    Propose, select and utilize specialty staff/consultants where needed (e.g. Some travel to external meetings is required.

    A bachelor's level degree with 11 or more years relevant experience or nine years of experience plus a graduate degree is required.

    Preferred qualifications and/or experience in educational technology, instructional technology, educational media, and project management.
    must have the skills to provide verbal and written feedback to supervised staff to assist in their development.

    Extensive and proven expertise and experience in developing and executing synchronous and asynchronous webinars, podcasts and other programs for adult learners.

    Ability to strategize and plan independently, project manage and to report on activities on a regular timeline.

    Must have experience in planning and overseeing in-person and online meetings, providing written agendas, taking minutes that include action plans, that will support ADEA members and ADEA institutions in developing further programming.

    Ability to balance multiple projects and shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines, completing tasks efficiently and with accuracy.

    Ability to work at ADEA's DC office on a hybrid basis (currently three days per week but subject to change per business needs).

    Requires airline travel to attend member meetings and events, including some weekends.
    Develop and manage a robust continuous improvement process for eLearn programs, software, and staff support, collaborating with MCET.
