    Caregiver Assistant - Long Term Care



    The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. This role is responsible for providing high-quality, personalized care and support to residents with varying needs.



    Job Description



    • Assists residents with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing and provides psychosocial support;

    • Transfers, repositions and walks residents using correct transfer techniques and equipment;

    • Aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures if needed;



    Required Skills & QualificationsPnP Required skills include a strong ability to provide compassionate care, excellent communication skills and basic math abilities. Strong observational skills are also necessary.
    PPEducation requirements: High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.PPCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from state board of nursingPProven experience working in long-term care environment helpful.
