    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Department: CCI - RADIATION ONCOLOGY

    Shift Timings: Morning Shift 08:00 - 16:30 Hours

    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Discusses and explains treatment plans to patients.
    • Determines exact location to be treated.
    • Administers radiation treatment safely, in consultation with oncology team.
    • Calibrates, operates and maintains radiation machine.
    • Monitors patients for adverse reactions during treatment.
    • Ensures accurate delivery of treatment using medical imaging equipment.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
    • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
    • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
    • The ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Strong technical skills.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Passionate about patient care
    • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiation Therapist program
    • Minimum three years of current Radiation Therapist experience
    • Active unencumbered Radiation Therapist California state license
    • Completion of an AMA approved Radiation Therapy Program required
    • Licenses and Certifications
    • ARRT(T) - ARRT Radiation Therapy required
    Requirements:
    • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

    • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
    • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
    • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
    • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
    • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
    • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
