    Description


    Omni is looking for an experienced Aviation Safety and Quality Manager to support our Jandakot Engineering, Maintenance and Operations teams in a part-time capacity.


    Omni's Aerospace capability is an industry leader in the design, maintenance and operations for Government and private sector agencies, companies, and individuals.

    Omni's Aerospace team consistently meet client budget and timeliness requirements, and all work is undertaken by experienced aviation professionals committed to working through complex, sensitive and rewarding aviation tasks.


    The Aviation Safety and Quality Manager is responsible for the management and operation of the safety and quality management systems including, minor corrective, remedial and preventative action.

    They are required to manage the Safety Management System, Quality Management System, Fatigue Risk Management System and act as a representative for the WH&S, Quality and Environment systems in accordance with the Omni ISO accreditations.

    The Aviation Safety and Quality Manager is responsible for regular reporting on the effectiveness of the safety and quality management system.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    Before applying for this role, ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria listed below:

    Be an Australian Citizen
    Be willing and able to hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 Australian Security Clearance
    Minimum 4 years' experience in the aviation industry
    Demonstrated experience as an aviation safety and/or quality assurance auditor (12 months or more).
    Hold and maintain essential professional qualifications (where required)
