Description
Machinist/ Water Jet Operator1st Shift, Monday - Friday
Perform light fabrication, making jigs, fixtures, and special lots of production components
Program and operate the water jet, loading and unloading material and parts, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
Formal machinist training requiredMust be a self-starter capable of working with general instruction and minimal supervision
Minimum of one year's machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Able to work overtime, as required
Ability to participate in the Emco Wheaton Retail Benefit Plan (including medical, dental, vision)
