Description

This position is responsible for all plant machine control systems and documentation, and for working with Engineering on new machine controls and standards.

They may design layout, materials and information flow, or machine placement. They may also be responsible for increasing production efficiency by evaluating performance and proposing and implementing improvements.

Update, modify, and continuously improve existing control systems including roboticprograms, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operatorinterface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and controlDesign and develop new machine controls including robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic,pneumatic and vision systemsCoordinate with engineering and maintenance on existing machine control modifications torobotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and vision systemsCreate, maintain and keep current all hard copies and electronic databases:

all electrical,hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs; machine power distribution and all related vendor controlsBachelors degree in a related discipline, i.e.

Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology,etc., or 10 plus years equivalent experience and education.
Electrical controls engineering background desired.
Experience with Siemens Processors and Fanuc Robots.
