Summary of Job Duties:The position requires possible on-campus teaching responsibilities at multiple campuses and may include live streaming, webinar and online courses. Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of the teaching field, a commitment to high academic standards, a dedication to student success and excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.General Responsibilities:
*Development of course materials, assignments and assessment of student learning outcomes within the structure of the course
*Management of blackboard LMS and online learning environments, such as MyLabs or WebAssign
*Management of accurate student records and timely submission of syllabuses, roster certifications, and grades.
*Commitment to follow institutional and department policies regarding all course and college procedures
*Ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues and staff, including timely communication replies
*Ability and willingness to use contemporary educational techniques and technologiesQualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- A minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- College teaching experience with community college experience with a diverse student body a preference
