    About The Role
    Join us as an Accounting Manager and be a vital force behind our financial success.

    As a key member of our team at the Lanham, MD location, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies that support our mission of delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions.

    Your impact will resonate across the business, influencing decision-making processes and contributing to the growth and stability of our organization.

    Key Responsibilities
    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
    Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities
    Manage the company's financial compliance, including tax filings and audits
    Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets
    Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team
    Key Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
    Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
    Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Effective communication and leadership abilities
    Key Nice-To-Haves
    CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification
    Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    Experience in the electric utility industry
