• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist.
• Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state].
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options.
• Proficiency in medical coding systems and documentation (e.g., CDT codes).
