Job summary
We are looking for a Purchasing Cost Engineer with a focus on Electronics to work in Auburn Hills. This is a direct opportunity with our client.The Purchasing Cost Engineer is responsible for leading and owning cost estimation activities across programs, with periodic support of sourcing activities and a strong focus on electronic component cost analysis.
- This role serves as the functional owner and subject matter leader responsible for building and maintaining a cost model within for purchased components, related tooling, and raw materials.
- This position is responsible for establishing, maintaining and continuously improving Cost Models for purchased components, related tooling and raw materials.
