Growing structural engineering/precast concrete company has an opening for an Engineering Manager.


Duties:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Structural Engineers
Set department-wide expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
Oversee personnel matters – includes hiring, terminating, evaluating, and mentoring
Implement department policies and procedures
Review structural calculations and drawings to ensure approval
Interpret architectural/structural plans and perform required calculations to ensure structural integrity
Oversee a project design team that is accountable for project milestones and the successful deliverable to customers
Oversee project schedules and quality and respond with proposed solutions with internal teams
Provide sales staff with engineering support for prospect jobs
Visit manufacturing facilities and construction sites on occasion


Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineering Licensure in Minnesota (PE)
8+ years of structural engineering experience
Engineering management experience
Precast concrete experience highly preferred
