DescriptionWho We Are:
Messiah Lifeways is a non-profit organization located in Mechanicsburg, PA, that provides a network of services for adults 55 and better living in South Central PA. Our roots trace back to 1896, when the Brethren in Christ Church founded Messiah Home in Harrisburg, PA, to serve older adults with Christ-like love.
Position Summary:
The Campus Services Intern supports the Campus Services Department, which includes Maintenance, Security, Environmental Services, Guest Services, Transportation, Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving, Grounds, and Construction Services. The intern assists with projects, reports, logistics, and day-to-day operational tasks while gaining exposure to essential business processes and contributing to team initiatives.
The primary focus of the internship is a Key Management Project, which involves logging, tracking, assigning, and testing keys across the campus. Additional project work may include project management support, development and documentation of policies and procedures, creation of Campus Services workflows and templates, and blueprint identification and organization, along with other departmental initiatives.
The Operations Intern must be enrolled in a post-secondary program.
