    Job Description

    The Test Engineer - Software is responsible for the development and maintenance of test system software designed internally. Position will also support validation testing of test systems at the electromechanical injector manufacturing site.

    Required Education/Experience:


    • Bachelor's Degree with Computer Science, Information Science & Technology, Computer

    Engineering or other Engineering discipline


    • 2-3 years experience in developing & testing software for complex systems

    Test Engineer Required Skills/Abilities:


    • .NET development, , and/or C#


    • Familiarity with Git


    • Commitment to continuing to develop skills and knowledge in technical disciplines including test software and infrastructure


    • Ability to interpret technical documentation


    • Technical writing including validation protocols and report for test systems


    • Proficient in Windows applications (Word and Excel specifically)


    • Analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex, multi-faceted technical problems


    • Ability to build partnerships and to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

    Preferred Experience:


    • Experience with National Instruments / LabVIEW


    • Experience with Hardware communication protocol experience (SCPI, VISA, etc.)


    • Working history in the medical device manufacturing field or other highly regulated industry (e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, etc.)


    • Working experience with SQL


    • Experience with software validation of SW and HW systems

    Test Engineer Responsibilities:


    • Maintain existing software applications


    • Design new test applications and/or functions


    • Create and maintain software design documentation


    • Collaborate at a peer level with lead test engineers and technical supervision


    • Support validation activities of test systems in electromechanical manufacturing


    • Coordination of concurrent projects that may impact several departments and/or business units
