    Location: Quarryville, PA
    Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday

    Buck Company LLC is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support our environmental compliance, risk management, and sustainability efforts. This role is responsible for evaluating operations, processes, and suppliers to identify potential environmental risks and developing effective mitigation strategies. The Environmental Specialist will help implement and maintain environmental policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support environmental preparedness and response initiatives.

    What You'll Do:
    • Identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation solutions.
    • Evaluate existing operations, processes, suppliers, and assets for environmental impact and compliance.
    • Support the implementation and maintenance of environmental policies.
    • Ensure environmental due diligence is thoroughly performed and documented.
    • Collect, manage, and analyze environmental data using business intelligence tools.
    • Develop risk models based on data analytics.
    • Stay current on evolving environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to develop response and preparedness plans for environmental issues.
    • Prepare reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
    What We're Looking For:
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
    • Experience with environmental data collection and analysis.
    • Ability to evaluate operational processes and identify environmental risks.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with business intelligence or data analysis tools.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or a similar environment.
    • Experience developing environmental risk models.
    • Familiarity with environmental management systems (EMS) such as ISO 14001.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
