    Office Cleaner (Sanitation)
    Location: Alexandria, VA
    Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour
    Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
    Job Summary
    Adecco is hiring an Office Cleaner (Sanitation) to support daily cleaning and sanitation operations at a production facility in Alexandria, VA. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards across office, production, and common areas while following all quality, safety, and food safety procedures.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform daily and hourly cleaning and sanitation per the Master Sanitation Schedule
    • Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, production areas, and equipment
    • Tear down, clean, and sanitize equipment as required
    • Collect, empty, and dispose of trash, recyclables, and compost properly
    • Restock restroom and kitchen supplies as needed
    • Spot mop spills and perform floor care in high-traffic areas
    • Respond to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Ensure entryways and floor mats remain clean, dry, and safe
    • Follow all sanitation, safety, GMP, HACCP, and food safety procedures
    • Accurately measure and use cleaning chemicals and wear required PPE
    • Verify equipment functionality and report any issues to a supervisor immediately
    • Report all quality, safety, or equipment concerns promptly
    Qualifications
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
    • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal team members
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
    • Prior sanitation or cleaning experience preferred but not required
    Education
    • Education equivalent to a 6th-grade level required
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred but not required
    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Maintain clean uniform and proper hygiene standards
    Work Environment
    • Work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from 45-60°F, with occasional exposure to coolers (25-40°F) and freezers (as low as -10°F)
    • Use of cleaning chemicals and food production equipment requiring adherence to safety protocols and PPE

    Pay Details: $14.50 per hour
