Job description
Our client, an entrepreneurial boutique firm led by two dynamic partners, is seeking a 4th-to-7th year Corporate Transactional Associate with meaningful transactional experience to join an active and expanding corporate practice, serving small to mid-market businesses. This role offers substantive involvement across a broad range of transactional matters, direct client access, and participation in sophisticated business transactions, within this successfully growing platform.
The firm seeks a relationship driven attorney who assumes ownership of client engagements and expects to make a tangible impact.
The Associate
will handle general corporate matters, entity formation and governance, ownership restructurings, commercial agreements, and strategic business counseling.
The Associate
will develop practical commercial judgment while gaining exposure to how transactions are structured, negotiated, and closed for privately held companies and growth stage enterprises. Experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions is also expected.
The firm represents founder led and privately held businesses across their full business lifecycle from formation and expansion to acquisition, investment, and transition.
The Associate
is expected to move beyond diligence and document drafting, participating in negotiations, advising principals directly, managing material portions of transactions, and exercising sound judgment across a variety of corporate matters. Strong contributors gain visibility and opportunity quickly within a firm that values initiative, accountability, and performance.
Admission in New Jersey is required; New York admission is optional. Compensation includes salary (190K-to-220K+) plus year-end bonus, 401(k), health coverage, and robust additional benefits.
