    Retail Sales Consultant provides excellent customer service to Windstream residential and small business customers by demonstrating exemplary customer service skills, product and service expertise. By enthusiastically and professionally greeting and assisting customers, by phone or in person, the Consultant offers additional products and services to enhance the portfolio of current customers while introducing Windstreams communication and entertainment services to potential new customers.


    What Youll Do:

    • Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies by promptly placing inventory orders.
    • Merchandise retail store in an attractive and enticing manner which professionally represents the Kinetic brand.
    • Meticulously up-keep the stores appearance.
    • Perform all Cash Policy related duties.
    • Follow all Windstream operational policies and procedures.
    • Assist events and other Windstream sales teams as assigned.
    • Be responsive and transparent and work with others to achieve shared goals.
    • Take inbound and make outbound sales calls to achieve sales goals.
    • Complete training and comply with coaching as needed to ensure achievement of quota and compliance with sales processes.
    • You will report to the Manager Retail Sales.

    Do You Have:

    • Intermediate computer skills
    • Ability for some overnight travel may be required.
    • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a commission-based environment.
    • Ability to project a positive, professional attitude along with a confident and outgoing personality.
    • Ability to demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to quickly and successfully build rapport with a wide range of customers.
    • Ability to solve problems quickly and decisively.
    • Ability to use diplomacy when working with challenging or demanding customers.
    • Sales, Customer Service, Retail, or Hospitality experience.
    • High School Degree or GED equivalent.
    • A valid driver's license

    Even Better:
    College degree related to the position.

    6 months to 1-year sales, telecommunications, or customer service experience.

    Job Requirements

    Minimum requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year sales or customer service experience. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.
