    TekPro is partnered with a leading manufacturer of power transmission components for the aerospace industry in their search for a Quality Assurance Manager. As a Quality Manager, your job will be to implement, maintain and evaluate the company's quality assurance system programs that meet the requirements of AS9100 and the Customer Specific Quality Requirements flow-down in POs, Long Term Agreements, and Contracts.

    Job Summary:

    • Leads and drives process and product quality program compliance, to industry, company, and customer requirements.
    • Shall serve as or have the capability to become the Management Representative for the organization
    • Maintains Quality Manual, Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms in support of AS9100 standard.
    • Directs and leads Preventative / Corrective Actions, Quality Notifications (QN), and Non-conforming material requests (NCRs).
    • Point of contact for all internal and external Quality Audits.
    • Acts as liaison with Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Customers, and Supply Chain.
    • Responsible for monitoring internal and external quality metrics and KPIs.
    • Manages calibration of all inspection equipment.
    • Manages creation and supports FAIR & APQP documentation, as applicable.
    • Supports lean manufacturing initiatives and duties.
    • Maintain Quality Management System Documentation.
    • Maintain AS9100 certification & compliance to AS13100 for Aero Engine Production Parts.
    • Drive continual improvement. Report quality data/results to management.
    • Maintain related records and files in up-to-date condition. Implement and monitor quality policies.
    • Ensure that all QC activities comply with AS/ISO Operating Procedures.
    • Maintain records and conduct periodic evaluations including NMRs, MRB, monthly quality reports, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 10+ years of previous management or quality engineering experience in aerospace.
    • Must have experience in coordinating, monitoring, maintaining, and evaluating the company's QC programs.
    • Must have experience working with AS9100 & AS13100.
    • Must be physically able to lift lbs. and mentally capable of performing the job demands as listed above.
    • Six Sigma experience is a plus.
