Job summary
This position is responsible for achieving the best possible cost savings while ensuring the most beneficial supply base for the company.
+- Develop and lead sourcing strategies to initiate cost savings and cost increase avoidance activities while reporting any changes in material costs to Key Stakeholders (Materials Manager, Accounting, Operational Buyer, Managing Director, Director of Purchasing).
- The Strategic Buyer assumes the role of Project Buyer supporting selected projects to ensure the best cost is obtained for specific project materials.
