    Title: Regional Sales Manager

    Location: This role may work out of Atlanta, GA, as well as remotely

    Reports To: Sales Manager

    The Position

    This position is responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within the Americas region, meeting or exceeding the annual sales target by offering and promoting system packaging to customers. This will include identifying and addressing all key factors associated with the purchasing decision (i.e. price, delivery, quality, technical solution, etc.) as well as solving key problems with a positive resolution.

    This role will provide after-sale customer service and assistance. You will additionally support and maintain a representative network. Lastly, you will be tasked with providing timely feedback to management pertaining to market and competitive trends.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within the Americas region
    • Must meet or exceed assigned sales quotas
    • Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information and assist customers to determine proper product that meet requirements and application
    • Coordinate internal resources (Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing) and submit technical and price proposal to the customer
    • Follow up on leads and quotes
    • Provide technical and price support to the territory Representatives
    • Support and attend Trade Shows on an as needed basis
    • Provide feedback to general manager on market and competitive developments
    • Assist in the training and development of the Sales Representatives
    • Special sales projects as needed
    • Handles Programs Contract management for multimillion dollar contracts
    • Other various duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Technical degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
    • 5-8 years of demonstrated successful sales experience
    • Computer literate
    • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Proven successful record of technical sales in the devices, appliances and hardware electronics or Industrial manufacturing industry, with proven track record of selling pieces and components to Engineering
    • Program Contract Management experience handling large multimillion dollar contracts
    • Excellent organizational and influential skills with a Go getter approach, selling to companies developing products
