The Strategy & Operations team is vital within the Global Solutions Center of Excellence (CoE), shaping the Solutions Organization for the next generation, aligning Product and Sales, and propelling Salesforce towards its ambitious $50B goal. As we transition to an AI-first approach, measuring impact becomes essential. The Senior Analyst, Demos & Tools will be the analytical powerhouse behind our premier tools program and global demo strategy.

This role involves building analytics infrastructure, developing KPI frameworks, and implementing reporting mechanisms that measure the ROI of our tool investments and the success of our demo methodologies. Your insights will guide strategic decision-making, enlightening leadership on not only what tools and demos are utilized but also how they drive revenue and accelerate deal-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytics Framework & Infrastructure: Collaborate with the Global Analytics team to create a 'single source of truth' for Solution Engineering data, designing and maintaining necessary datasets, views, and data pipelines to monitor tool and demo performance.
• Tools Program Analytics: Assist the Solutions Tools Program Manager in analyzing license utilization, adoption rates, and the efficiency of spend, providing data-driven suggestions regarding license renewals and potential cost savings.
• Pilot & Evaluation Measurement: Establish success metrics for tool pilots and evaluations, analyzing quantitative feedback and usage data to inform 'Go/No-Go' purchasing choices.
• Demo Performance Insights: Analyze the Demos portfolio to identify trends in demo consumption, creation, and customization, correlating this activity with deal outcomes to validate the effectiveness of our demo strategy.
• Dashboarding & Reporting: Create, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards (Tableau, CRM Analytics) that provide real-time program health visibility for operational and executive stakeholders.
• Strategic Recommendations: Transform complex data into actionable insights, regularly preparing analyses and recommendations for Solutions CoE & leadership in investment planning and resource optimization.
• Business Reviews: Support the creation of data narratives and presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive updates, ensuring data accuracy and compelling storytelling.
• Process Optimization: Identify gaps in data collection processes and propose operational improvements to enhance data quality and reliability.

Skills/Expertise Required

• Data Visualization & Storytelling: Expert in creating engaging dashboards (Tableau, CRM Analytics) and articulating complex data narratives through presentations (Google Slides/PowerPoint).
• Analytical Rigor: A minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, or business operations with a strong ability to structure complex problems and suggest innovative, data-informed solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience in aggregating and manipulating large datasets using SQL, SOQL, or equivalent tools is essential; advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets are also required.
• Operational Business Acumen: Ability to connect data with business results; experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or a Solutions Engineering environment is a significant advantage.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to engage effectively with both technical teams (IT, Data Science) and non-technical stakeholders (Sales/Solutions Leadership) to drive analytics projects to completion.
• Self-Starter: Highly motivated to exceed expectations, comfortable navigating ambiguity while promoting projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Desired Experience:
  • Experience with Snowflake is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce object architecture and reporting is preferred.
  • A background in management consulting, finance, or sales strategy is preferred.

The typical base salary range for this position is $97,900 - $148,100 annually, with variations in select locations in the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.
