- Assessing patient conditions and administering medications
- Monitoring vital signs and responding quickly to changes in patient condition
- Initiating and managing the computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission
- Performing general nursing duties across various departments under supervision
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and conveying empathy and compassion
- Communicating effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Providing age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial care
- Floating to other departments as needed
- Supporting the facility's mission, vision, and values
- Participating in required education for DNV programs
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN or MSN preferred)
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred
- Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- CRASE training required if assignment extends beyond 6 months
