Job description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials to provide essential support in Birmingham, AL schools.
This role involves travel between two school settings, offering a dynamic work environment that includes both intermediate and elementary students.
Responsibilities Include
Delivering speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 15 students at an intermediate school and 4 students at an elementary school.
Managing therapy sessions scheduled around 20 hours per week, consisting of two full days at the intermediate school and a half day at the elementary school.
Collaborating with teachers and staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs).Monitoring student progress and maintaining thorough documentation of therapy outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience working in K-12 school settings, particularly with diverse caseloads.
Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate therapy sessions across multiple sites.
