Located in Frostburg, Maryland, Peace Healthcare at Mountain City Center is an 89-bed skilled nursing facility. Our main goal is to provide compassionate and outstanding care to seniors in Frostburg and the surrounding area, treating them like family. From 24/7 skilled nursing care to memory care, respite care, hospice care, and more, we offer comprehensive senior care services. We are currently seeking full and part-time Registered Nurses to join our expanding team and work 8- or 12-hour shifts.

Both full and part-time employees are eligible for benefits after a probationary period with minimum hour requirements. Additional benefits include:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current RN licensure with Maryland State Board of Nursing Examiners.
Preference for one year of geriatric nursing experience.
Proficiency in the English language.

JOB SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurse at our facility, you will provide quality care to residents under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing, ensuring their overall well-being.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adheres to facility policies and procedures for Registered Nurses.
Addresses resident care needs within the RN scope of practice, seeking assistance when necessary.
Administers treatments and medications accurately and in a timely manner.
Stays informed about best practices in rehabilitative and extended care nursing.
Handles resident and family concerns effectively, involving leadership when needed.
Participates in quality assurance and improvement activities.
Attends educational activities and meetings as required, documenting care accordingly.
Develops and revises care plans for residents as needed, following the established plan of care.
