    :

    Must be in Raleigh/RTP (Research Triangle Park) for 2-3 days a week is for team collaboration and culture building.

    The Cryptographic Services Team is looking for an Automation Engineer to work with their newly created centralized automation platform for the purpose of automating systems within their infrastructure management.

    The Line of Business

    This team is responsible for protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information and computing assets, while enabling business productivity.

    Groups that make up this team are designed to employ a proactive approach to data privacy and protection and are focused on operationalizing security and driving secure innovation for the entire enterprise.

    These teams are responsible for reducing the company's risk by consistently reviewing the technologies, tools and processes for capturing and containing attacks.

    This team also constantly looks to mature the infrastructure to account for new threats and expanded network capabilities.
    Job Description:


    This specific team manages critical services for the internal teams and its customers, and the impact of their work can be significant, including potential downtime for manufacturing plants.

    They are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with cloud skills to help with their 5 AWS environments and specific projects aligned to them.

    One of their top priority projects is focused on certificate tracking and inventory management to prevent certificate expiration and ensure service uptime and customer trust.

    This role involves working with the architect to evolve the current AWS EKS environment to version 2.0, adding additional monitoring and alarms.

    The current infrastructure needs an automation overhaul. This environment is still very immature and needs infrastructure management using automation to drive efficiencies. With increasing projects and clients, the necessity for automation across systems amplifies. This individual will drive optimization of the environment through operating in a CI/CD pipeline. This individual will understand AWS EKS, Terraform, and integration into a GIT environment.
    Top Skills:

    1) Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) - experience using software tools to automate IT infrastructure tasks
    2) AWS EKS experience - using Kubernetes to automate the management, scaling, and deployment of containerized applications.
    3) Terraform configuration experience
    Nice to Haves:

    1) Git lab
