The Role

We are seeking a highly organized, competitive Experiential Sales Lead to play a central role in our growth. This is a sales-driven, performance-based position where success is measured by revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer retention. This is an entry level position for the person who'd like to gain sales experience and a dream for sales professionals with experience in relationship sales.
This role blends sales, customer service, event leadership, and marketing and is ideal for someone who enjoys people, setting goals, tracking results, and continuously challenging themselves to perform at a higher level.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Experience
- Own the full sales cycle from inquiry to close
- Actively sell and book events while owning revenue and booking targets
- Build relationships with clients and proactively pursue new opportunities
- Develop quotes, proposals, and customized event solutions
- Increase the value of existing customers while attracting new ones
- Research organizations and individuals to identify new markets and leads
- Represent Kona Ice in meetings and community partnerships
Event Planning & Execution
- Oversee scheduling and confirmation of school, festival, corporate, and private events
- Ensure all event details are clearly defined so that they can be executed smoothly
- Anticipate challenges and resolve issues before they impact clients or our team
- Provide calm, solutions-focused leadership for high-touch and VIP events and clients
Marketing, Reporting & Administration
- Support marketing initiatives that drive sales growth
- Track leads, pipelines, bookings, and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate event documentation and customer records
- Evaluate results and profitability
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability

Performance Expectations
This role is results-focused. Performance is evaluated based on sales growth, revenue, pipeline health, and customer retention. A high performer will be rewarded with increased responsibility, compensation growth, and leadership opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Sales mindset with a desire to meet and exceed goals
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and computer skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Culture, Schedule & Benefits

- Core hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
