Job summary
A Accounts Receivable Technician generates and sends customer invoices and statements, records customer payments makes bank deposits applies funds to accounts regularly reconciles customer accounts identifies discrepancies researching resolving them follows up on overdue accounts contacts customers about late payments negotiates payment plans maintains accurate customer records invoices payment history financial files addresses customers questions bills payments accounts assists with month-end closing activities generates financial reports as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in accounting software e.g QuickBooks general data entry required
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills required excellent communication verbal/written customer service skills required understanding of basic accounting principles ability to work under pressure meet deadlines pay based on experience required.
