EstimatorSummaryThe Estimator provides full-time support to the Director of Preconstruction frequently interactingwith clients, project managers, vendors and contractors. This role assists management inpreparing work to be estimated, gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other relateddocuments.

Identifying labor, materials, and time requirements for projects, attend bid meetings,owner meetings, and other meetings with stakeholders and work alongside of the estimating teamto prepare budgets in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities (responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following)Prepare work to be estimated.

Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and otherrelated documentsIdentify labor, materials, and time requirements for projectsAttend bid meetings, owner meetings, and other meetings with stakeholdersWork directly with Director of Preconstruction and other estimators to generate estimatesfor small and large projectsCommunicate and interact with sub-contractors and component suppliersKeeps abreast of latest trends of the Construction industryMaintain a high degree of integrity and loyalty toward the company and customersPreferred Knowledge, Skills, Education, and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or a related field, or 5 to7 years equivalent experienceMust be able to review plans and evaluate drawings quickly and accuratelyFamiliarity with or the ability to learn and become competent in using our (2) cloud basedestimating platforms (i.e., Building Connected & Procore Estimating)Willingness to communicate in person or over the phone with our sub-contractors andcomponent suppliersFamiliarity with local jurisdictions, codes, and review processes a plusValid Driver's LicenseStrong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to give clear directions and respond to inquiriesExceptional customer service skillsPhysical RequirementsThe Estimator physical condition must be sufficient for the consistent and successful completionof the responsibilities defined for this position.

This position frequently requires standing, walking,sitting, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
