TENICA is looking to hire a Senior Computer Scientist.

Must have TS/SCI and CI poly.

Skills:
Image processing and mensuration, algorithm development, deep learning, cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, R or Java

Description:
Technical Skills

Important:
o Some coding experience, whether in a software engineering or data science contexto Background or experience that provides a good understanding of statisticso Some familiarity with geospatial data formats and representation schemes

Nice to have:
o Deeper expertise in statistics, linear algebra, numerical uncertaintyo Experience with Mensuration Services Program (MSP) or other mensuration toolso Experience building data science tools in Python using popular libraries like numpy, scipy, pandas

Leadership and Consulting

Important:
o Mindset and experience designing and carrying out data science or analytic experiments (e.g., formulating strong hypotheses, rigorously keeping track of input data and result sets, sensemaking, formulating conclusions that are both justifiable and meaningful)o Affinity for self-driven learning and filling one's knowledge gapso Taking changes in tasking in stride

Nice to have:

o Proven skill balancing multiple lines of tasking and tracking/determining relative priority ordero "Cross-training" or generalization between different technical tracks/practices such as data science, math modeling, backend software development, web development, etc.
