    Willing to offer relocation assistance for the right candidateJob Description Provide leadership to the NDT and API team, including technicians and inspectors; Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure the team operates efficiently.

    Coordinate NDT and API activities for compliance, projects, and turnarounds; Develop compliance plans, allocate resources, and establish timelines to ensure timely completion of inspections.

    Ensure that all NDT and API operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards; Conduct safety briefings, enforce safety protocols, and oversee the implementation of safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

    Serve as the primary point of contact for the site regarding NDT and API; Communicate compliance requirements, project requirements, turnaround requirements, address client concerns, and provide regular updates on compliance, project, and turnaround progress.

    Maintain high-quality standards in NDT and API inspections. Implement quality control measures, review inspection reports, and ensure that NDT techniques and procedures meet industry standards.

    Oversee the maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment with operations management; Schedule regular inspections, coordinate repairs, and ensure that equipment is functioning properly to support accurate testing.

    Manage the budget for NDT and API compliance, projects, and turnarounds; Work with operations to estimate compliance cost, project costs, turnaround costs, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and safety standards.

    Maintain accurate records of NDT and API activities, including inspection results, equipment maintenance logs, and project documentation; Generate reports for clients and internal stakeholders as needed.

    Provide training and mentorship to NDT technicians and API inspectors; Ensure that team members are properly trained on NDT techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.

    Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in NDT and API operations; Implement best practices, evaluate new technologies, and seek feedback from team members to enhance overall performance.


    Required Skills and Experience:


    One or more API certification required (API 510/570/653).Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a Site Lead or Supervisor position required.

    Minimum of three (3) years' experience working with one or more API certification required.
    Certifications in NDT methods (MT/PT/UTT, RT) would be considered an asset.
    Refinery and Chemical Industry experience required.
    Pre-employment background check and drug & alcohol screening required.


    Physical Requirements:
    Move, carry, and lift objects 50 lbs. or more.
    Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
    Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
