    Paralegal Specialist

    About the Role & Team

    We are seeking a paralegal specialist with significant experience in technology legal matters to support our Studio Technology team. Familiarity with technology matters within the entertainment industry is preferred.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Drafting and negotiating agreements related to technology, including software licenses, professional services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and software/system evaluation agreements.
    • Preparing detailed summaries of agreement terms.
    • Coordinating with various business and legal groups on complex issues.
    • Tracking the status of projects and agreements.
    • Proofreading and editing documents.
    • Assisting with special projects as assigned.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • At least seven years of paralegal experience, preferably in the technology/digital field at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
    • Able to handle a high volume of work with minimal supervision.
    • Strong analytical skills, including identifying and analyzing complex issues and devising solutions and strategies.
    • Ability to draft contract language and integrate business issues into contracts.
    • Detail-oriented, with accurate and thorough grammatical, writing, and proofreading skills.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively.

    Compensation

    The hiring range for this position in California is $103,500.00 to $138,800.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs.
