- Modeling matter profitability and providing scenario analysis to support pricing decisions for firm management.
- Researching and identifying existing/historical firm matters that may provide a baseline for billing attorneys in developing budgets for new matters.
- Creating analysis and designing reports or presentations to display pricing trends.
- Analyzing client performance data to identify pricing opportunities.
- Performing ad hoc analyses using the firm's various data stores and tools.
- General understanding of the fundamental elements of LAW FIRM pricing
- Able to work with large volumes of data and possess advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e., formulas, macros, pivots, data manipulation).
- Must be a proactive, self-starter who understands the details and can integrate them into a much larger strategic context.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills are required to build and maintain effective relationships with senior management, attorneys and staff.
- BA needed in one or more of business, economics, law, finance, accounting, mathematics
- Minimum 2 years of LAW FIRM ENVIRONMENT business experience is required
