    Job Title: Senior Engineer at HNTB

    Are you ready to be part of a team that shapes the future of infrastructure projects across the nation? Join HNTB as a Senior Engineer and contribute to the success of our diverse range of projects.

    What We're Looking For:

    HNTB has a long history of delivering innovative solutions for complex infrastructure projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for producing and refining design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for assigned projects. You will collaborate with project managers to conduct research, develop designs, and ensure project delivery. Your expertise will be essential in solving design challenges, interacting with clients, and supporting the project team.

    This role requires independent work and leadership in drainage design for multi-disciplinary projects, particularly in transportation. You will tackle complex hydrologic and hydraulic designs, contributing to the success of projects involving streams, bridges, detention, and more.

    What You'll Do:

    • Uses senior-level technical expertise for engineering solutions.
    • Leads and ensures adherence to schedule and budget on complex engineering projects.
    • Assists in marketing efforts and proposal generation.
    • Provides technical guidance and mentors team members.
    • Coordinates technical aspects with clients and teaming partners.
    • Leads discipline delivery on multi-disciplinary projects.
    • Assists in planning and coordination of work for multi-disciplinary projects.
    • Performs assigned duties efficiently.

    What You'll Need:

    • Master's degree in Engineering with 7 years of experience, or PhD in Engineering with 6 years of experience.

    What You'll Bring:

    • Demonstrates excellent technical knowledge in multiple discipline projects.
    • Prioritizes tasks and ensures high-quality project delivery.
    • Anticipates risks and effects of actions and supports successful project outcomes.
    • Applies expertise to innovate project efficiencies and identify solutions.
    • Utilizes technical skills to make informed decisions and achieve optimal project outcomes.
    • Experience in DOT design and storm system design.

    What We Prefer:

    • Preferably a Master's degree in Engineering.
    • 10 years of relevant experience.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain MO/KS PE.
