And that's how we create better together. We are seeking an experienced professional to join a dedicated team at our Distribution center in Fort Worth, TX. As the Distribution Manager (2nd Shift), you will be responsible for overseeing the 2nd shift picking, shipping, and transport of goods to various destinations, ensuring timely delivery, customer service, inventory management, and safety. In this position you will oversee 2 Distribution Center Supervisors, 1 lead & 40 hourly employees in the picking and shipping departments. This critical role reports directly to the Sr. D.C. Manager and will work cross-functionally to meet or exceed production revenue.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Coach, mentor, develop, and lead a workforce of ~ 40.
    • Manage the overtime of employees.
    • Assess resource needs & reallocate as necessary.
    • Ensure work instructions are accurate and enforce adherence.
    • Manage the overall safety for both teams.
    • Set clear expectations for your team.
    • Ensure adequate headcount is maintained for departments.
    • Work cross-functionally with peers to meet or exceed production revenue targets.
    • Ensure adequate supplies are ordered within an appropriate time frame.
    • Ability to understand different customer and shipping requirements & execute weekly.
    • Identify process gaps and implement process improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain / Distribution / Warehouse experience (3 of which in a leadership position)
    • Associate degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Chain / Distribution / Warehouse experience (4 of which in a leadership position)
    • High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain / Distribution / Warehouse experience (5 of which in a leadership position)
