This position has a $7,500 sign on bonus for external candidates *based on eligibility requirements*

Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm rotating weekend on call

This position is a MAST Union position

How you'll contribute

A Radiation Therapist who excels in this role:

* Delivers accurately the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy with minimal supervision.

* Creates and executes patient treatment schedules.

* Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition. Fabricates immobilization devices, and blocks, custom blocks, bolus, etc.

* Observes radiation safety measures for patient and personnel.

* Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.

* Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.

* Maintains records of daily treatment and other records as required.

* Simulates patients according to Radiation Oncologist's instruction.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state ARRT Certification and an Associate's Degree. Additional requirements include:

* ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy Registry

* Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

* Varian, TrueBeam and ARIA experience preferred
