    :

    This position requires a highly responsible and efficient individual who will be in charge of providing assistance to the Office Manager with administrative support. The Administrative Assistant shall have knowledge and be able to operate all computer programs related to the Child welfare system, including but not limited to FSFN, FDLE fingerprint and be proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs.

    Required to be in the office Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

    Qualifications:
    • A High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
    Skills/Abilities:
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
    • Must have good listening, communication and writing skills.
    • Must be willing to learn.
    • Must be willing and able to work well with others and cooperate in the sharing of resources and information in order to obtain the final work product.
    • Able to work overtime as needed

    Specific Areas of Responsibility to Position:

    1. Reports to the Office Manager.
    2. Answers telephone calls and re-directs callers as needed.
    3. Works in reception area directing clients
    4. Assists with scheduling and completing fingerprint process for FCM and Administration.
    5. Orders and restocks supplies, as needed, for agency.
    6. Assists FCM upon request through Office Manager.
    7. Schedules conference rooms.
    8. Updates and distributes company telephone list on a timely basis.
    9. Distributes mail, handles all mail coming in and out of the office.
    10. Contributes to the understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity within the agency and the community.
    11. Participates in the agency's Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Program
    12. Contributes to the understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity within the agency and the community;
    13. Complies with all relevant JCAHO standards and regulations.
    14. Utilizes the agency's resources in a fiscally conservative manner.
    15. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
