Key Responsibilities:
As the Business Office Manager, you will be a vital bridge between the administrative staff and various departments, ensuring efficient communication and support throughout the facility.
Collaborating with the Administrator to enhance facility-wide operations
Undertaking general secretarial and administrative duties to bolster the performance of all departments
Embracing temporary or long-term assignments across different departments as directed by the Administrator
Scheduling and facilitating meetings with external agencies, such as governmental bodies and third-party payors
Nurturing positive relationships with families and residents
Managing mail processing and distribution to ensure seamless communication
Adhering to established policies while handling inquiries and information releases
Providing a warm welcome to visitors and guiding them to appropriate destinations
Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, from typing to account management
Ensuring timely distribution of Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) to residents
Acting as a relief at the front desk, showcasing your multitasking abilities
Liaising with Future Care regarding accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Representing the Business Office at Medicare meetings
Supporting the Human Resources Department as needed
Managing weekly banking tasks and other errands as required
Qualifications:
A proactive attitude toward embracing new methods and principles to enhance current practices
Ability to interpret financial records and reports effectively
Proficiency in working with computer systems, applications, and office equipment
Aptitude for making independent decisions when the situation demands
