- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college with seven to 10 years of relevant experience, or a two-year degree from an accredited college with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Conveyor control process experience (photoeyes, solenoids, variable frequency drive, line scanner, print and apply application)
- Knowledge of and ability to work with and manage multiple suppliers
- Ability to work effectively on a team and support high levels of performance
- Strong management and advanced collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal communication)
- Extensive experience working with MS Project and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in standard design of relevant material handling equipment for position

POSITION SUMMARY : The Manager, Electrical Engineering will focus on the development and management of an internal team within the Engineering group. This role will create an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication culture, set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and coach/mentor Associates to successfully deliver engineering projects. This position will provide leadership and development to Fortna Associates of varying levels of experience and will focus on the management of the group's resource planning and project execution across all delivery projects. This role will support promoting and developing the approach and methodologies for the delivery of projects from the initial lead up to the implementation. As a management position, the technical function of this position is to be responsible for directing the design and documentation of electrical controls deliverables of Fortna's Material Handling Systems (MHS).

WORKING CONDITIONS : When duties are performed in a typical office environment, extended periods of sitting at a desk and viewing a computer screen will be required. The base salary range for this role is $112,500 to $168,800 . This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
