Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a GA or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
ResponsibilitiesWork in an emergency department settingDay shift, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requiredFloating to the Clinical Decision Unit as neededReturning employees must have a one-year separation from the health system or 18 months if returning to the same facilityTime off requests not on or near a holiday are limited to 5 days; if falling on or near a holiday, maximum is 3 daysOnly one holiday request is allowed during the contractMultiple days of time off during the holidays will not be approved unless spread outFirst-time travelers may be considered
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license in handCurrent ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications requiredMinimum 18 months of ER nursing experience requiredMust reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
