    Job Description

    Position Purpose

    This position represents Finance Business Services in all cross-functional projects supporting back-office functions and process changes both regionally and on a global level. The Project Manager will be leading, driving and supporting automation & efficiencies within Finance Business Services that incorporates Contracts, Master Data, Pricing & Invoicing, Data Integrity and I2C (Invoice-to-Cash). The FBS Project Manager will plan, organize and implement special projects or initiatives as identified by leadership. They will lead and support project meetings and provide frequent project updates to senior leadership. The project manager will be responsible for providing strong, detailed recommendations.

    Major/Key Accountabilities

    Manages and executes FBS department projects impacting all areas of the business and can be both regionally and of a global scope.

    Lead internal and cross-functional teams, providing guidance and mentoring when necessary

    Develop the project strategy, supporting business case, and high level project plans

    Manage the project plan (resources and tasks) daily and communicate and orchestrate changes to the stakeholders and team members

    Responsible for ensuring proper change management tasks are identified and executed

    Work collaboratively with all business functions to provide insights regarding the impact of cross-functional business changes to systems as well as the impact of systems changes on all business functions and processes. Provide valuable input on options and solutions to best meet all business needs.

    Design and implement needed process controls and measures to ensure that core processes are effectively controlled from a quality perspective, risks mitigated, and that systemic process issues are identified and corrected.

    Lead and participate in projects and business process improvements for your function and cross-functionally utilizing six sigma, lean, and project management methodologies. Identify and communicate solutions and ensure proposed solutions are realized.

    Ensure integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the team

    Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments and reporting on project accomplishments and deliverables

    Responsible for managing project scope, resources, project reporting, conducting team meetings, and removing obstacles

    Support the Transformation Team to ensure all WAVE initiatives stay on track.

    Essential Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience

    People leadership experience

    Desirable Qualifications

    Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification

    Experience

    Ability to collaborate cross-functionally for problem resolution, process improvements, and projects

    Leading and directing activities of front line personnel & successful coaching for improved performance

    SAP, Salesforce, and Business Warehouse experience required

    Presenting to senior management and executives

    Project leadership & change management expertise

    Use of lean and six sigma tools including process flow diagrams preferred, value stream maps and metrics to identify & opportunities for process improvements

    Skills and Knowledge

    Skilled in key software, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) SAP, BW, and Salesforce CRM

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and cross-functional collaboration for all levels in the organization and strong listening and negotiation skills. Ability to translate and communicate complex and abstract issues so they can be easily understood

    Proven change management skills. Must be able to function well in a cross-functional and high-activity environment.

    Highly organized with ability to multi-task and re-prioritize based on changing business and customer needs.

    Excellent planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and quickly develop and execute a plan amongst ever changing priorities

    Strong decision maker, able to and comfortable with pushing back organizationally when necessary.

    Solid understanding of business process analysis techniques, process metrics, and performance measurement

    Capable of understanding technical application structures supporting their areas of expertise and of understanding the impact of technical changes on business processes (multiple applications and platforms involved).

    Self-starter, able to work independently with minimum supervision

    Proven project management skills with demonstrated ability to drive projects that require cross-functional resources

    Strong business and financial acumen
