POSITION SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center.

#The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs and coordinates patient care.

This nurse through collaboration with the healthcare team, assures continuity of care during the pre-procedural, intra procedural, and post-procedural period of the patient GI experience.

# EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:
One year of RN experience or three years GI Tech experience Desired: One year GI or Endoscopy experience# One year critical care nursing experience ## # LICENSES /


CERTIFICATIONS:
Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing Current CPR recognition Current ACLS recognition Desired:## # Certified Gastrointestinal Registered Nurse (CGRN)# ## # SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE /


ABILITIES:

Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient having a diagnostic/therapeutic procedure and the patient#s family.
