Job summary
The Greenhouse Department Manager is responsible for the quality, vitality and appearance of all aspects of the greenhouse areas including annuals, tropicals, houseplants and herbs/veggie products to ensure they are merchandised in accordance with company standards.Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing and inventory needs with Operations Manager to efficiently and effectively receive product, execute displays and conduct floor moves related to the department
- Maintain the health, vitality and appearance of all department inventory including annuals, tropicals, houseplants and herbs/veggies in accordance with company standards
- Routinely communicate department trends and recommendations to the General Manager to help make informed purchase and product replenishment orders
