Senior Credit Officer

Compensation:
$150,000 to $170,000 Base and Discretionary Bonus

Currently partnered with a Regional Bank that is actively seeking experienced professionals to join their Credit Risk Team. The firm is specifically interested in hiring a seasoned credit expert with extensive experience in business banking and commercial client coverage across various industries

Responsibilities
Lead underwriting, assessment, monitoring, portfolio management, and approval processes for new/existing clients
Directly manage 20 to 50 clients
Work collaboratively with Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and Lenders
Ability to analyze financial statements, trends, and projections
Understanding of risk management and controls frameworks related to counterparty credit risk management or another financial risk discipline.

Qualifications
Minimum of [8] years of end to end commercial, business banking, or consumer credit experience
Bachelors in Finance, Economics. or similar spaces are preferred
Demonstrable track record of independent decision making and the ability to steer client and business negotiations
Formal credit training is preferred
