    Job Title

    Staff Accountant Position


    The Charleston School of Law seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the accounting department. Key responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing processes.


    This role will also be responsible for facilitating timely, efficient, and accurate completion of accounts payable tasks by utilizing technology tools.


    Important duties include processing invoices for payment, maintaining vendor and accounting files, and reconciling all accounts.


    Additionally, this position will work closely with faculty and staff to ensure proper approvals and documentation are received for all payments.


    The ideal candidate will possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, organizational, and communication abilities.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    1. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
    2. Minimum 3 years experience in accounting.
    3. Experience with QuickBooks or equivalent, and excel are preferred.
    4. Excellent data entry skills and accuracy required.
    5. Confidentiality, organizational, and communication skills essential, as well as ability to work well with others.
