    As a full service, tier-one automotive and industrial component supplier in the Greater Dayton/Cincinnati area focusing on light weighting of body structures our business is expanding.

    This year we are building a new facility to support our increasing portfolio of tight-tolerance aluminum extrusion business. With extensive growth happening NOW, the opportunities are limitless
    We are looking for highly talented Electrician to support our brand new facility.
    2nd Shift: 3pm -11:20pm (includes off-shift incentive)


    Pay:
    $28-$39/hour


    Bonus:
    $2,000 Sign on bonus + eligible for quarterly bonuses

    Position Summary:
    The Electrician will be responsible to install, build, troubleshoot, and repair machinery containing electrical componentry. Provide support for the manufacturing of quality products through maintenance and installation of electrical components and equipment.
    Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:

    Install, build, troubleshoot and repair machinery including:
    PLC Controlled Machinery
    Robotic
    Welding
    Pneumatic
    Hydraulic
    Press Control
    General Manufacturing Mills and Presses

    Operate a variety of equipment including:
    Metering Devices
    Hand Tools
    Scissor Lift
    Programable Logic Control (PLC)
    Volt/Ohm Meter (VOM)
    Diagnostic Computers
    Conduit Benders
    Threading Equipment
    AMP Probe
    Megger
    Thermographic
    Ultrasonic Analysis

    Work in a safe manner, providing constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility.

    Help develop specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair machinery.

    Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality.

    Complete and manage work orders via the Plex system.
    Engage with outside resources as needed to keep production running.
    Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor apprentices as requested.
    Advanced troubleshooting of both equipment and systems. For example, PLC troubleshooting, variable frequency drives, induction welders, mid-freq welders, etc.
    Additional functions, not specifically outlined in this position description, as directed by the supervisor.

    High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
    Minimum of five years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
    Ohio State Electrician's License preferred.
    Master Electrician Certificate preferred.
    Proficient with Microsoft Applications (eg word, excel, outlook, etc).
