    Job Description

    We need a Senior Technical Advisor to serve as a senior technical advisor in the development and review of international standards (standards and recommended practices (SARPS))as part of a team supporting work at the International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO) Information Management Panel (IMP).

    This position includes but not limited to:

    • Provide technical expertise in the development of oversight training materials for the global aviation community which include promoting best practices in operations and oversight.
    • Provide technical expertise and leadership in the development of a semantic technology-based solution to provide risk transparency, allowing access and linkage to required information for a given safety concept.
    • Semantic technologies are a newer class of technologies intended to allow users to reap the precision and recall benefits of computers, while interacting with information in a way that is intuitive and reflects human concepts of language and information.
      • Lead collaboration between business SME's and technical team to ensure development and understanding of business requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Experience working with metadata, ontology, and data order
    • Knowledge of ICAO, SARPS, and IMP
    • Knowledge of FAA
